Documented diagnosis must be provided in order to qualify for treatment~

Clients must be diagnosed and documented by a licensed medical professional, MD, or DO, PsyD or psychological PhD. Music therapists do not provide diagnostic testing, and clients must provide medical documentation of a need to receive services. Documentation must be provided from the office of a state licensed medical professional in writing provided in person, via mail, valid courier, or through HIPAA secured documentation transfer.

A qualified, ethical clinician must have proof of diagnosis or may risk mistreating and/or causing harm to a client or patient.
